Direct Recruitment of Post of PostGraduate Assistants / Physical Education Director Grade - I - 2011 - 12
PROVISIONAL RESULTS AFTER CERTIFICATE VERFICATION
As per the Notification No.3/2012 published on 28.02.2012, the Written Competitive Examination for the Direct Recruitment of Post of Post Graduate Assistants and Physical Education Director Grade - I Posts was held on 27.05.2012. A total No. of 151441 candidates appeared for the written examination. Out of this, 8420 candidates were absent for the Examination and 143021 candidates attended the written Examination. After completion of written Exam, the Board released the list of 3103 candidates and they were called for Certificate Verification in the Teachers Recruitment Board website on 29.07.2012. The Certificate Verification was conducted on 03.08.2012. As per the direction of Hon’ble High of Court of Madras dated 01.10.2012, the Board revised answer keys for all subjects and revalued OMR answer sheets of all the candidates appeared for the written Examination and the merit list was released in the website on 18.10.2012. Based on the revised merit list 6267 were called for Certificate Verification on 30.10.2012.
Now, the Board has released the provisional selection list of Post Graduate Assistants in all subjects expect Botany, which has been withheld as per the interim direction of the Hon’ble High Court in WP22243 of 2012 and M.P. No. 1 of 2012 dated 03.09.2012. The interse seniority of the candidates will be given later, which is subject to the outcome of the appeal made in the judgment of W.P.Nos. 21170, 21171, 21172, 21387, 21231, 21232, 21946, 21947, 21779, 21716, 21868, 22073, 21683, 21114, and 25353 of 2012 and connected M.Ps. and W.P.(MD) Nos. 10551, 10662, 10927, 10819, 11025, 10705,10706, 10994, 10667, 11213, 10960, 11065, 8518, 11391 & 10679 of 2012 and connected M.Ps. dated 01.10.2012
The Board has decided, on humanitarian consideration give another chance to the absentees and those who have not produced Certificates in January 2013. Appropriate number of posts have been kept unfilled.
Further communication regarding postings and placements will be issued by the concerned departments.
Results for Indian Culture, Home Science, Political Science and minority languages will be released separately
